February: Month of Love Challenge

January was devoted to decluttering, and after the success of it, I wanted to continue the momentum with some more 2018 goals. Another personal goal that I had was to show and invite more love in my life. I know that I already have a great deal of love, but I wanted to devote myself to appreciating, savoring, and showing this love on a more consistent basis. And so I have this next Monthly Challenge: Love.

So everyday this month, I have a small task for you for either self-love or loving those close to us. Happy love month!

  1. Set aside 1 hour to do something that you love.
  2. Pick someone that loves you and write down how you think they would describe you.
  3. Devote time to a loved one doing exactly what they want to do, with no complaints and no judging.
  4. Make a list of people and things that you love.
  5. Take your time getting ready for bed. Take long bath, slather on lotion, brush your hair slowly, etc.
  6. Admire your reflection, taking in your features without criticism and with only admiration.
  7. Turn off your phone the whole time you’re around loved ones.
  8. Indulge in a guilty pleasure.
  9. Show the Earth some love and plant something; could be in a garden, at a park, or a small pot in the kitchen window.
  10. Take yourself on a date. Buy yourself a nice dinner, go to a movie, whatever brings you joy.
  11. Leave a kind note for someone you care about.
  12. Write a list of 10 things you are grateful for.
  13. Buy yourself a treat like flowers or chocolate.

  15. Go a full day without criticizing, correcting, or judging other people.
  16. Write a list of 10 things your proud of yourself for.
  17. Volunteer your time or money to a cause you believe in.
  18. Eat every meal slowly, enjoying the taste and appreciating the love that a good meal shows your body.
  19. Make a point to only think positive things about yourself today. Treat yourself like a friend.
  20. Any lingering grudges? Time to let them go and move on.
  21. Show your loved ones some love. Say “I love you” often and give plenty of affection.
  22. Give a loved one a genuine and unique compliment.
  23. Put your favorite music on and dance.
