The vaquita is in the same group as whales, dolphins, and porpoises, this marine mammals is among the smallest and rarest in the world. Their natural habitat is the gulf of California and their name means “little cow”. With only about 10 left, they are on the brink of extinction. This is mostly due fishing, where a vaquita can get caught in nets and drown after being unable to surface for air.
Characteristic features include grey makings that make it look like are smiling, with the line of grey continuing down their body.
Half of all proceeds go to Defenders of Wildlife in order to help the Vaquita.
